If your patient's insurance lies within a state of the EU, it is possible to obatin a so called E112 form, which nowadays is known as the S2-from. It basically says that, since in your homeland no eqal therapy is available, the insurance company is willing to come up for the costs of the stay in an Asdonk clinic. Financially the patient is treated like he was insured in Germany.
With this S2 form the Asdonk clinic can charge any German health insurance, which is to pay the invoice by European law. Once the German health insurance company has paid, it'll charge the Insurance company that gave out the S2 form.
For our patients it is very important that the S2 form definitely says that the homeland insurance company is also willing to come up for the compression stocking. Furthermore it's important that the form says, that the insurance company is willing to come up for 2 sets, otherwise the German health insurance company might decline to come up for the costs of the stockings and the success of the treatments in the clinic might be vanishing within weeks.
